Privacy policy
Last updated: 02 September 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how One Dexter collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit this website, register your interest in One Dexter or Whole Dexter, or contact us.
1. Who we are
One Dexter is operated by One Dexter Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17431672. One Dexter Ltd is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.
For questions about this Privacy Policy or how your personal information is used, you can contact:
One Dexter Ltd
58 Pennyhill Park, Penrith, Cumbria, CA11 9JW
Email:
jacob@onedexter.co.uk
2. What personal information we collect
When you register your interest, we may collect:
- your name;
- your email address;
- your phone number, if you choose to provide it;
- whether you are interested in the One Dexter experience, Whole Dexter, or either option; and
- any other information you choose to provide when communicating with us.
We do not ask you to provide special category personal data through the interest registration form.
3. How we collect your information
We primarily collect personal information directly from you when you:
- submit the Register Your Interest form;
- email us;
- contact us by telephone or another communication method; or
- otherwise choose to provide information to us.
4. Why we use your personal information
We may use your personal information to:
- record and manage your interest in One Dexter or Whole Dexter;
- understand demand for the One Dexter experience and Whole Dexter;
- contact you when reservations or Whole Dexters become available;
- respond to questions or communications from you;
- manage and develop One Dexter and its customer offers;
- protect the website and forms from spam, fraud and automated abuse; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations.
We will not use an interest registration as permission to send unrelated third-party advertising or unrelated marketing communications.
5. Our lawful bases for using your information
UK data protection law requires us to have a lawful basis for processing personal information.
Depending on the purpose, we rely on the following bases:
Consent
When you deliberately register your interest and ask to hear when One Dexter reservations or Whole Dexters become available, we rely on your consent to contact you for that specific purpose.
You can withdraw that consent at any time by contacting jacob@onedexter.co.uk. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it.
Legitimate interests
We may rely on our legitimate interests where it is necessary and proportionate to:
- manage interest registrations;
- understand demand for the One Dexter and Whole Dexter offers;
- respond to enquiries;
- operate and improve the website; and
- protect the website and forms against spam, misuse and security threats.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether our interests are balanced against your rights and reasonable expectations.
Legal obligation
We may process or retain personal information where this is necessary to comply with a legal or regulatory obligation.
6. Interest registrations
The Register Your Interest form allows prospective customers to indicate whether they are interested in the flagship One Dexter experience, Whole Dexter, or either option.
Submitting the form does not create a reservation, contract or obligation to purchase, and no payment is taken through the interest registration form.
Information submitted through the form may be stored within the website’s form-management system so that we can review registrations and contact people who have asked to hear about future availability.
7. Form and website security
The website uses security measures designed to reduce spam and automated abuse.
The interest form is configured so that its stored entries do not include the user’s IP address, browser name or device name.
8. Cloudflare Turnstile
We use Cloudflare Turnstile on our forms to help distinguish genuine visitors from automated bots and to protect the website from spam and abuse.
Turnstile may process technical information necessary to perform its security checks. One Dexter currently uses Turnstile in Invisible mode, meaning the verification normally takes place without displaying a challenge to the visitor.
Cloudflare acts as a service provider in connection with this functionality. Further information about the processing associated with Turnstile is available in Cloudflare’s Turnstile Privacy Addendum .
9. Who we share personal information with
We do not sell your personal information.
We may provide personal information to trusted service providers where this is necessary to operate One Dexter and the website. These may include:
- website hosting providers;
- website and form-management providers;
- email and communications providers;
- website security and anti-spam providers, including Cloudflare; and
- professional advisers where reasonably necessary.
These providers may process information on our behalf only where required to provide their services or where otherwise permitted by law.
We may also disclose personal information where required by law, a court, a regulator or another competent authority.
10. International transfers
Some of the service providers used to operate this website or communicate with you may process information outside the United Kingdom.
Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure that appropriate legal safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law.
11. How long we keep your information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.
Interest registration information will generally be retained while One Dexter is being developed and while the information remains relevant to future availability. We may retain it for a reasonable period afterwards where necessary for administration or record keeping.
If you withdraw your interest or ask us to delete your information, we will delete it where we have no overriding legal or legitimate reason to retain it.
12. Keeping your information secure
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss or misuse.
However, no method of transmitting or storing information online can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
13. Your data protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, UK data protection law may give you the right to:
- ask for access to the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask us to delete your personal information;
- ask us to restrict how your information is used;
- object to certain uses of your personal information;
- request transfer of certain information in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent where we rely on consent.
These rights are subject to certain legal conditions and exceptions.
To exercise any of these rights, contact jacob@onedexter.co.uk.
14. Automated decision-making
We do not use the personal information submitted through the One Dexter interest form to make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
15. Cookies and similar technologies
This website may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for website functionality, security or form operation.
If we introduce optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential technologies that require consent, we will provide appropriate information and obtain consent where required.
16. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as One Dexter develops, the website changes, or our legal obligations change.
The date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last updated.
